Surgery Colombia (surgerycolombia.co) is operated by Scout Theory LLC, a company registered in Ohio, United States. We provide medical tourism information and referral services connecting international patients with surgical providers in Colombia. We are not a healthcare provider and do not deliver medical services directly.
When you submit an inquiry through our contact forms, we collect the information you voluntarily provide, which may include your name, email address, phone number, location, procedure of interest, and any medical or personal details you include in your message.
When you use our cost and travel planning tools, we may also collect information you choose to enter such as a home-country quote amount, preferred Colombian city, travel timing, records readiness, travel-budget assumptions, and campaign or referral attribution. Calculator results can be viewed without providing contact details; these planning inputs are submitted to us only when you choose to request quotes.
We also collect standard analytics data through Google Analytics 4, including pages visited, time on site, device type, and approximate geographic location. This data is anonymized and used to improve our website and services.
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, respond to your request and, when you consent, route it to relevant participating providers, and follow up on your request. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
When you submit an inquiry about a specific procedure, we may share the inquiry with up to 3 relevant participating providers so they can respond. Please do not upload or paste highly sensitive medical records into the public web form. If a provider needs records, arrange a more appropriate transmission method with that provider.
As a referral service based in the United States connecting patients with Colombian healthcare providers, our handling of your medical information is governed by applicable U.S. and Colombian law. We are not a HIPAA-covered entity. Public forms are designed for basic matching information, not full medical records. Any later exchange of medical records should be handled through an appropriate channel agreed with the provider.
Your inquiry data is stored securely through Google Workspace infrastructure. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
